Tree and Shrub Pruning
Over the years, our company has been on the front lines as far as learning new and advanced techniques of pruning trees. As more is learned about how trees grow and respond to pruning cuts, our guidelines have been developed. All of our trimming Arborists have been hands on trained in the proper ways of pruning trees. Every year most of them go for additional training learning new or reinforcing pruning techniques. This helps to insure quality with every job. All tree trimming is not the same! Our style of trimming focuses on promoting structure of the tree, promoting health, vigor, and future growth patterns. Trees require pruning once every few years, they are far to valuable to let just anyone care for them.
As trees and shrubs grow, they need direction. This may be in the form of pruning, thinning or removing deadwood. Schulhoff Tree and Lawn Care arborists have specialized training and equipment, as well as an “eye” for what needs to be done. Pruning enhances the appearance and value of landscaping, but its importance is more than cosmetic.
Proper Pruning is important because it:
Removes weak, dead, storm damaged, diseased, or interfering branches
Can be used to train growth patterns of young trees
Minimizes the risk of storm damage
Provides clearance for streets, sidewalks, driveways, structures and overhead lines
Most shrubs require yearly, or every other year trimming. Many require shaping or thinning of canes. Each kind of shrub has it's own trimming requirements. If you are considering professional trimming of your shrubs, give us a call and we will come out and assess what your shrubs need.jQuery Menu by Apycom
